Trust center.

One place for how Hearts+ handles your information: what is collected and how it is protected, what you agree to when you use it, and how text messages are turned on and turned off.

The documents

Each one is short, written in ordinary language, and open to anyone. You do not need an account to read them.

Privacy policy

Covers what Hearts+ collects, from your account details and your messages with SAHRA to the readings from any device you choose to connect. It explains how that information is protected, who is allowed to see it, and that it is never sold and never used for advertising. It also lists the choices you have, including asking for your information to be deleted.

Terms and conditions

The agreement between you and Hearts+. It says what the platform is and what it is not: SAHRA supports your self-care between visits, and does not diagnose, prescribe, or take the place of your care team. It also covers your account, what counts as fair use, text messaging, and how you stop taking part.

How texting opt in works

Text messages are optional, and saying yes to them is never a condition of enrollment or of getting care. This page shows the two ways someone turns texting on, in the app or in person at enrollment, with pictures of the real screens. It also shows the messages SAHRA sends and how to stop them at any time.

What this means for your information

Your information is yours

You can open your own record in the app whenever you want, correct the entries you control, and decide which care contacts get to see it. Nothing is shared with anyone else because it suits us. It is shared because you asked for it to be.

You can have it deleted

Ask, and the information Hearts+ holds to run your care is removed. Two things are kept back: the record of what you agreed to, and the record of who opened your information. The law requires those to be retained, so they are, and we would rather tell you that than leave it out.

It is protected in transit and at rest

Your health information is encrypted on the way between your phone and Hearts+, and encrypted again wherever it is kept. It stays inside the United States, and every company that helps carry or store it is under a written agreement to protect it the same way.

It was built that way from the start

This is not a layer added once the product was finished. The apps you use never reach your health information on their own, every time it is opened that is recorded, and your history is added to rather than quietly rewritten. Those decisions came before the first feature did.

If something here is not clear, or you want to ask how any of it applies to you, write to us on the contact page. The same team that builds Hearts+ will read it and reply.
